For the last four days, from the 27th until the 30th of December 2006 I was just like last year in Berlin at the 23. Chaos Communication Congress (23C3). As usual, there were much very cool and interesting people I talked to and of course there were also many lectures.

I really enjoyed the congress even if I think that it’s going to become a too big event which we nearly can call a “POP-Event”. For that reason also most of the lectures were just basic and a bit of advanced stuff but nothing which’s really state of the art or new at all.
For me personally it was of course very interesting that there where some lectures related to the topic of web application security, for example there were talks about AJAX, JSON, CSRF and one which I left after a few minutes, the lecture should cover web application security at all but it was too basic for me because I really already know that there exists a GET and a POST method

I don’t know if I’ll be there next year again or not but over all, this four days in Berlin where still really fun.
