OPSA Course Part two

OPSABecause I had much to do in the last few days, I didn’t have the time to post something about the other four days of the OPSA course and the exam. After all, I can say that I enjoyed the course very much because it was not only something else then normal working it also had some very interesting parts where I’ve learned a lot.

In the course we did a lot of different stuff, for example we played around with Nmap, tcpdump, dig and so on but as you might know, the “A” in OPSA stands for Analyst and so our goal wasn’t to learn the technical stuff. We focused on analysing for example tcpdumps and how to find anomalies in there.

Other things we did where audit planning, going deeper into the OSSTMM, learning the Rules of Engagement and the Rules of Thumb ans much more.

Last but not least we did the exam and I think that most of my answers should be ok but I’ll know more in about four weeks :)
