For me today started at 07:15 AM when my alarm-clock was ringing and that’s definitive to early for me but it was worth to get up so early because the Kickoff Meeting of the OWASP Switzerland Local Chapter was taking place in Zurich. When I arrived at the UBS Sport- and Seminarzentrum Guggach (after searching it for about 20min ) I directly met Sandro who’s reserved a room for the meeting and in the next 15 minutes came three people more so we were five people, which isn’t much but it’s a good start.

During the Meeting we talked and discussed about too many things for writing everything down but it was very interesting and I think we’ve got the right people to push the OWASP in Switzerland.

The most important things we discussed I think were first, our goals in the Local Chapter and it’s very cool that all of the guys which were there don’t started talking about projects and big stuff. The main goal for all of them is to do some networking and knowledge transfer which is a very good and also realistic goal I think.

The second cool thing we decided is to do some “workshop-like” sessions in which one or more people can show some stuff to others so that we can learn from each other.

For me personally the discussion about the new leader of the OWASP Switzerland Local Chapter was very interesting because I’ve been asked if I’d like to get this job and yes it would be very cool if I can do that but I said that I first want do hear from Adrian (the actual leader) if he still want to give away the lead. So, I’m waiting for Adrians response

Now I’m back home and I really can say that I’m enjoyed the meeting and looking forward to met these guys again.
